We were previously using what was considered state-of-the-art equipment. It was all digital X-ray material, but when we switched to the new system it was suddenly night and day between what we could see. So we really try to keep the very best equipment that we can so that we make sure that we're catching things early. That we're able to see potential problems on screenings, on X-rays.
All of us use magnification in the work that we do in the office as well so that we make sure that we're not missing things. We also offer same-day crowns, bridges, or veneers. That technology allows our patients to completely eliminate the process of being in a temporary bridge or crown, and having to deal with the sensitivity that goes along with it, or the potential of it breaking or coming out, and then having to avoid their favorite foods or social engagements out of concern for how the temporary work is going to function. We can deliver a strong and beautiful restoration without having to give our patients a two-week delay before they can have that in their mouth. It's been a wonderful solution for us to offer that to our patients and eliminate a fair amount of headaches and stress.
